About David Gustafson
Dave has 39 years of experience in Information Technology. He is a graduate of the Electronic Data Systems (EDS) Operations Development Program and has held various roles in data center operations and application support for primarily two clients – Allison Transmission and Allison Engine. His experience includes various client and internal projects, mainframe programming, supporting areas of operations (EDI, SAP, Sales and Distribution, Purchasing, Finance, Human Resource Management, internal billing, and production scheduling and monitoring). As a transition team member, he helped the EDS Indiana Solution Centre achieve SEI/CMM Level 2 and served as Production Support Subject Matter Expert (SME) Team Lead. The latter part of his career has been spent on EDI development and implementation of trading partner transactions, EDI mapping, production support, and development in support of clients, client customers, suppliers, distributors, banks, and logistics providers in the SAP ECC environment.
