David Guin handles general business and commercial litigation, securities fraud, shareholder disputes, institutional investor representation, stock broker arbitrations, antitrust and consumer class actions for both plaintiffs and defendants. Mr. Guin has been listed in the publication, The Best Lawyers in America, for his securities, class action and commercial litigation practice, and was named their \"Lawyer of the Year\" for Birmingham securities litigation for 2018. He also has been selected as a \"Super Lawyer\" in the areas of class action, antitrust, commercial and securities litigation, and has received an \"AV\" peer-review rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating given by attorneys to their peers. Guin previously served as Alabama chapter president of the International Network of Boutique Law Firms and as a director and Executive Committee member of the National Association of Securities and Consumer Attorneys He has been a member of the Editorial Board of Class Action Reports, a bi-monthly Thomson/West publication reporting on all aspects of class action litigation. He serves as an arbitrator for FINRA and is frequently published in law reviews and similar publications. In his spare time, Guin enjoys triathlon training, hiking and fly fishing. He served as the inaugural Board President for Cahaba Riverkeeper, and has served on the Board of 10/40 Connections (currently on the Advisory Board).
