ABOUT DAVID GROSSMAN
In my former role as Kaiser Permanente’s Vice President of Social Health and Equity, I worked to drive health care quality and equitable health outcomes by shaping our organization’s population health strategy and addressing the social determinants of health for our members and the communities we serve. As a pediatrician with more than 30 years of medical and community health experience, I’m proud of our work at Kaiser Permanente’s Office of Community Health - where we’re identifying and addressing community social needs and addressing the root causes of health, including economic opportunity, affordable housing, and healthy environments. I also co-led Kaiser Permanente’s Task Force on Firearm Injury Prevention, where I bring my decades of research and expertise on injury prevention to identify ways that health care can help prevent gun injury and death.
