About David Green

David Green is a Professional Engineer, having graduated with honors in 1979 with a BASc in Mechanical Engineering (focus on Fluid Dynamics) from the University of Waterloo in Canada. David has over 35 years’ experience in natural resource technology industries, with responsibilities ranging from R&D through Sales, Marketing and Business Unit management. During this time, David developed new technologies which dramatically increased processing scale and simultaneously reduced capital and operating expense. Since joining Well Master as an owner in 2004, David has been instrumental in the company’s shift back to the roots of its knowledge and innovation base in oil/gas well deliquification hardware and associated technology. David’s philosophy has long been to work closely with customers and the supply chain, and to encourage and inspire our own people to innovate and create products and services that add value for the end user. David regularly teaches well operations classes for the ALRDC and for Operating Companies. David adds, “We must always understand that nothing in business is simply given. We have to earn the right to do business with our customers every single day. At Well Master we do this by living our values of Trust, Respect and “Do The Right Thing.”

   As an owner and Board Member of Well Master, I have enjoyed being a part of our remarkable growth since acquiring my share of the Company in 2004. Now over 40 employees and still growing, we have brought in top talent to manage our day to day operations, allowing me the privilege of focusing on personnel development, technical development of new products and processes, engaging our customers to help them meet the challenges of sustainable production in an environmentally responsible world, and to understand and optimize production in the era of horizontal and directional wells. We lead the industry in applying plunger lift technology to these new challenges and this is increasingly recognized by production operators and our peers.
