ABOUT DAVID GLENN

I am looking to serve in a leadership role with organizations who are making making positive changes in their communities. My skills include: financial and organizational management, operations, event management, event fundraising, grant writing and working with volunteers. I am a change agent and an implementer. For every organization I have worked for or volunteered with, I have been involved in the growth and development of programs and services. I believe strongly in carrying out that work with partners and collective leadership. I have also worked strongly to ensure that all work and decisions are performed and recorded with transparency and fiscal prudence to ensure the sustainability of the programs and organizations. Responsible for the overall financial management, long and short-term planning, implementation and exceeding those goals and fundraising for organizations. Most recently I was responsible for the establishment and development of and award winning hunger relief gleaning programs with partner organizations and innovative solutions designed to close the missing meal gaps. I guided taking ideas from concept to functioning realities. Primarily as a volunteer I have been organizing art festivals and events for over 25 years in addition to my other activities. I was a founding member of the Paramount Arts District Board and volunteered on that project for 12 years. From the planning stages of its renovation, lobbying the state legislature for support, fundraising, building restoration and foundation as an integral component of St. Cloud\'s infrastructure to its current established place in the Saint Cloud regional arts environment. I am a ceramic artist - for over 25 years I make art for daily use - primarily functional stoneware.
