Work with the Assessor and executive team to continuously improve operations, increase assessment fairness and equity, reduce costs, grow customer satisfaction and eliminate administrative challenges. Implement creative, collaborative solutions across multiple divisions and with external stakeholders. Provide strategic, policy leadership, including extensive coalition building locally and statewide. Results include advancing high priority, advocacy objectives through legislation (State Legislature), rules (Board of Equalization) and ordinances (Board of Supervisors). Lead external communication initiatives (e.g. collateral, videos, etc.) to inform and educate taxpayers, senior public and private financial executives, opinion leaders and elected officials. Identify opportunities to create positive earned print and on-line media in community, state, and national media. Draft executive communications including speeches and correspondence.
