ABOUT DAVID GILBERT
A Senior Technical Safety Engineer with 11+ years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. I have strong capacities for: all stages of project design, verification, and compliance with understanding of both Process and Technical Safety related issues. My experience covers high level through to detailed engineering: concept select, front end engineering design (FEED), detailed engineering & procurement (EPC) as well as working closely with operators during project commissioning and management of change activities. I have worked on greenfield and brownfield projects doing consultancy, contracting and 3rd party verification.My skill set is extensive in both Process Engineering and Technical Safety design activities. It also includes leading small discipline teams for both minor and major projects as well as mentoring of junior engineers.
