I am privileged to have helped found the Inzeku Education Foundation and to serve with its inaugural board of directors. Established in 2022, Inzeku was created in response to the urgent need for educational support among children in the communities surrounding Kakamega, Kenya. What began as a small initiative serving 22 students has, in just three years, grown to support over 400 children. It is a remarkable reflection of both local commitment and the generosity of friends and partners abroad.Inzeku provides tuition assistance, exam books, uniforms, nutritious lunches, and limited medical care, ensuring that students can stay in school and learn with dignity. Beyond meeting basic needs, the foundation fosters hope. Inzeku empowers young people to pursue education as a pathway out of poverty and toward a brighter, self-sustaining future.Our board continues to focus on transparency, accountability, and community collaboration, working closely with local schools and families to ensure every contribution makes a tangible difference. The story of Inzeku is one of shared purpose and compassion; proof that when people come together across borders, remarkable change can happen.
