About David Gee

To date, I have spent 30+ years in the healthcare industry, including extensive experience of pharmaceutical sales and marketing, business development, investment fund management, strategic planning and evaluation, change management, due diligence, licensing and M&A. This experience was gained in senior executive positions in European and US mid-sized pharmaceutical companies, international service companies and a variety of European and US biotech companies.I was a founding manager (Geschäftsführer) of a $100M corporate investment fund and have experience of investment and financial transactions from the perspective of the investor and of the funded entity. Recently at Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI), I worked with the exceptional research analytics, data science and clinical teams across a wide range of therapeutic indications and technologies to initiate and sustain research collaborations that leverage the thought leadership within the clinical teams at Duke, to advance clinical research and education in these fields - particularly with Real World Evidence (RWE).I am passionate about research that impacts health and improves health management and outcomes.#RWE #RealWorldEvidenceNow I have found opportunities to influence improvements in cancer care and in behavioral care - two areas of significant need for change particularly for patients and families that today are underserved by services.
