About David Gasson

David is a Principal and co-Founder of MG Housing Strategies. MG Housing Strategies is a boutique advocacy shop, offering their clients a clear window into the workings of Washington, D.C. as well as the necessary tools to navigate and succeed in the complicated environment of Capitol Hill. We facilitate a path to victory by utilizing bipartisan relationships and building support for production and preservation resources. MGHS will work with clients to increase housing resources through legislation and regulatory changes. David is also Executive Director of the Housing Advisory Group, an organization comprised of industry professionals from throughout the country that advocate on behalf of housing issues. David regularly consults with Members of Congress, congressional staff and regulatory agencies on housing and tax policy. He is a frequent speaker at national meetings, conferences and housing forums on state and federal policy issues. He is frequently quoted in trade and national publications and has contributed editorial on federal housing policy to a number of publications. When David is not preaching the gospel of affordable housing you can find him fly fishing, scuba diving, reading, playing with his dog Tucker or spending time with his friends and family.
