About David Gardiner
I am a physician-scientist enthusiastic to bring new medicines to patients for improvement of human health. My experiences span early development, late phase registrational programs, and medical affairs/life cycle management across immunology and rare diseases (dermatomyositis, scleroderma, CIDP, POTS, MOGAD) and infectious diseases (antibiotic development, HIV, Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B cure strategies). Medicine platforms developed over my career include small molecules, biologics (monoclonal antibodies, donor derived immunoglobulins), antisense oligonucleotides, and vaccines (DNA vaccines, viral vector delivery, prime-boost strategies). I have signficant experience with FDA, EMA, BARDA, DTRA/DOD, and multiple non-governmental organizations.I manifest a “hand’s on” leadership style, taking accountability for team performance and setting clear expectations for individual performance.
