My practice focuses on business and municipal transactional and litigation representation. I am an active member of the bar of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, appearing frequently in those forums on behalf of governmental and private clients in hearings and trials.My litigation experience is diverse, but the bulk of my work is focused on professional defense, much of which is high-stakes medical malpractice defense. I have also successfully defended municipal entities against tort and civil rights violations, protected businesses against employment and workers’ compensation claims, and pursued civil rights claims on behalf of aggrieved individuals and businesses. From a transactional perspective, I serve multiple high-volume corporations as outside general counsel, providing advice on a range of topics, from successfully negotiating contracts, to merging and branching into new ventures, to providing the risks and benefits of litigation. I am also proud to serve as the solicitor for more than twenty local governmental entities.
