Six years of technical work in the Naval Nuclear Power Field. Over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry chemical blending and dispense equipment. Experience in system design, process improvement, commissioning, and performance troubleshooting. I have had the opportunity, pleasure and benefits of working with and picking the brains of many really smart people in this specialized industry/field.I also have a diverse technical background in chemical, mechanical and electrical that allows me to attack problems from all angles.Specialties: Pressure/Flow control, online metrology.1. My most valued expertise is in slurry (CMP) handling/blending/dispense equipment. Pressure/Flow control in fluid/chemical distribution systems. I have one patent in this area and one more pending.3. Design Reviews and Failure Mode Analysis for Blending/Dispense Equipment.4. Troubleshooting process/system issues.5. Managing Upgrade projects. Field Upgrades can be the most challenging. Understanding the work that needs to be done, the risk, and the skills of your team. In semiconductor production, you are almost always given a window to work. Good planning, backup plans, managing risk, and, when necessary, being able to make the decision to begin backing out while you still have enough time.
