Supporting the clients UNIX infrastructure which is hosted on Vmware, UCS, HP Blades, IBM Power 6 & 7, have recently taken on support of the clients OpenShift infrastructure which is run using Docker and Kubernetes · Provide 24x7 support taking part in a standby rota.· Fault diagnosis, problem solving to 3rd line level, ensuring SLA targets are met, strict adherence to Problem and Change Management procedures, whilst documenting any RCA/RCP. Applying configuration management policies and procedures (i.e. user and system administration, licence monitoring, product version identification and control, etc.) on both server and related client platforms· Updating and maintaining the clients OpenShift infrastructure, which includes cluster configuration, project creation, incident resolution, patching and bringing it into a supportable state to move forward for the future.· Involved in AWS low side work to allow the client greater flexibility for the future, · With OpenShift and AWS the role has become more DevOps based whilst working in an agile environment, with tools such as Java, Python, Bash and Sharepoint.
