David left partial retirement in Phuket in 2009 to help raising funds in Asia for various technologycompanies, and has since become one of the most important introducers of capital for thesecompanies.Prior to his retirement, in 2004, David had a long career in Asia as an independent financialadvisor with his own business and, subsequently, as CEO of a UK listed company whichacquired his business.David’s business career in Asia started in 1991 when he joined Connaught FinancialPlanning Ltd, Hong Kong’s largest financial planning company, where he became SalesDirector. After a successful sale of Connaught to MBF (Malaysia’s largest credit cardcompany) David formed his own company in June 1994, becoming the CEO of the MBAGroup. After a series of mergers and acquisitions David became CEO of the MBA BerkeleyBurke Group in The group was subsequently sold to Inter-Alliance, a UK listedcompany, where David became Group CEO of Inter-Alliance International.Following a successful management buy-out of MBA Berkeley Burke from Inter-AllianceInternational David resumed his position as CEO in the newly reformed MBA Berkeley Burkein July 2002, a position he held until retiring in 2004.David started his career as a police officer in the Metropolitan Police Force in London, wherehe received 2 commendations. After 5 years as a police officer David entered the financialservices industry in 1985 working for an insurance company.
