ABOUT DAVID FONG
As an undergraduate researcher at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, I am currently engaged in the development of MentalHealthAI, a pioneering platform that leverages Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) to analyze and interpret mental health statistics based on qualitative personal attributes. My work primarily involves enhancing federated learning algorithms and integrating ARIMA models to construct a decentralized time series model. I am also pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science with a concentration in AI/ML and a minor in Math at RPI, where I have developed skills in Pyspark, Databricks, Power BI, React, Node.js, Express, C#, and TypeScript. I have applied these skills in various projects, such as ClassTime, a web application that tracks class times, projects, tests, and incorporates a global messaging feature for individual classes. I am seeking 2024 summer internship opportunities that will allow me to leverage my passion and expertise in AI/ML and blockchain to create impactful solutions for real-world problems.
