I am currently employed as a Senior Oil & Gas Operations & Industrial Safety Training Specialist, reporting to the Training Unit Supervisor, managing up to 20 apprentices and regular employees across oil, gas training programs such as BOC, GOSP, Field Service and Loss Prevention Courses, including, LOTO, Permit to Work, Hazard Recognition, Gas Testing, Confined Space Entry, H2S, and Offshore TEMPSC.• Consistently overachieving trainee pass rate KPI over a 9-year period, successfully delivering 93% pass rate.• Completing trainer evaluation reports for all trainees, including theory, practical and behavioural assessments.• Attending monthly communication, weekly safety and daily safety message meetings within the department.• Providing adhoc travel to offshore locations in the Arabian Gulf delivering industrial safety training during live ops.• Carrying out risk assessments and safety inspections on various facilities.Key Achievements:• Created 70-page training manual for offshore lifeboat course, including coordination with vendor for piloting of a VR training simulator, development and implementation of safe systems of work, reducing accidents to zero over 6-yrs.• Passed NEBOSH diploma in occupational safety and health, NEBOSH Oil & Gas Safety and promoted to Sr Trainer.• Trained over ~350 Apprentices in oil and gas operations and industrial safety over a 7.5-year period.• Trained offshore employees in offshore lifeboats, evacuation, escape and rescue safety courses.
