ABOUT DAVID FIELD

I do not claim to have all of the answers, know all the facts and figures or be up to date with the latest buzz words. I do however possess a set of skills and values that I have learned, honed and refined through my 30 plus years working within the automotive industry. I have worked through Design, Development, Manufacturing, Quality and International sales and the one common thread through all of them is people. I am a competent Engineer but my real strength is the ability to listen to, empathise with and lead people. I work best in the front line dealing with the cut and thrust of manufacturing and OEM customers, working with a team to overcome issues and meet the challenge. I communicate on all levels and value all contribution. I have travelled to the Far East, Europe, North America and South America on business in the past and have absorbed a lot about different cultures and values along the way. I am a family man who appreciates that work is for living and not the other way round but will happily put in what it takes to get the right result. I have never left anywhere that I can’t go back and strive to be accepted wherever I go. I hope this will tell you a little about me as a person and I hope that I will have an opportunity to tell you more in person. As for now, I am about to embark on a new challenge with Jaguar Land Rover SVO Seating
