Experienced electric utility industry profesional. My experience comprises a broad range of power delivery functions including distribution system design, planning, protection, reliability and system analysis. I worked with both investor owned and electric cooperative utilities and have extensive consulting experience in the U.S. and abroad. I am a licensed professional engineer in multiple states.

1. Senior Principal, Distribution Grid

   May 2024 — Present · Raleigh, NC, US

   I lead and coordinate activities across the various standards associations representing electric cooperatives in entities such as the NESC, NEC, and ANSI with a focus on the integration of distributed energy resources and new technologies. I work with the Transmission and Distribution Engineering Committee (TDEC) and serve as the NRECA liaison on the System Planning subcommittee, and represent NRECA on the NEETRAC Management Advisory Board. I support pilot projects and programs focused on distribution standards, infrastructure optimization, asset utilization and distribution performance simulation.
