WORK HISTORY
Teaching Assistant @Chaigeley Educational Foundation
In my role as a Teaching Assistant at Chaigeley School, I work in a Year 9 SEMH class supporting pupils with a range of neurodivergent needs and complex social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. I regularly manage highly challenging behaviour using a calm, trauma-informed approach, focusing on emotional regulation and wellbeing to help pupils reach a state where they can engage with learning. This role has helped me develop a practical understanding of behaviour, emotional regulation, and the link between wellbeing and learning, which are central to educational psychology.
