   As Director of Facilities Operations at ChildServe, I lead the strategic direction and daily operations of organizational properties, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-performing environments that support our mission of serving children with special healthcare needs. I oversee a multidisciplinary team including facilities operations, safety, and project management, and report directly to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Facilities.I develop and execute long-term facility strategies aligned with organizational growth, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. My responsibilities span capital planning, property management, leasing, construction oversight, environmental services, and safety/security systems. I lead the development of facility policies, manuals, and standards, and conduct regular inspections to assess risk and drive continuous improvement.I partner closely with internal leaders and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and service excellence across all facility-related initiatives. I also manage energy audits, building automation systems, and technical analyses to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.In addition to overseeing day-to-day maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and groundskeeping, I supervise vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and performance evaluations. I lead the development of the department’s Annual Operating Plan and represent ChildServe in industry associations and community groups, reinforcing our commitment to excellence and innovation in healthcare facility operations.
