Losing it all and finding true purpose. I taught myself to code at the age of 8, had two major tech exits by 26, and later fell to drug addiction, finding myself homeless by 30. While I quickly rebuilt myself, I remaining a \"functional\" addict for years. On February 2016, my close friend and mentor, renown tech entrepreneur, Jay Greenwald, was found dead from an overdose and I knew I’d be next. I checked myself into rehab and it was there that I had the vision for inRecovery. To enhance addiction treatment by creating the world’s first fully integrated addiction management system. Starting by deeply understanding patients and making data-driven personalized care a reality. Providing clinicians with AI powered smart workflows, actionable insights, risk detection. Post treatment, empowering people with digital tools and human connection to drive long-term change. Ultimately, a vision that could help millions of people beat addiction and reintegrate as thriving members of society. Where are we now?
