Managing photographers & planning photographic coverage of all 250 events the Marathon-Photos UK office has contacts for. These events are in UK & Ireland, right through Europe, the Middle East, Asia & the US- Planning event day logistics, travel & shoot plans for all events - Contracting freelance photographers to work with us throughout the year, and being their point of contact throughout the year- Managing a portfolio of about 500 photographers worldwide to ensure each event has the coverage needed- Ensuring photographers are fully briefed for the events they are contracted to work on- Liaising with event organisers & partners to ensure all necessary items are in place at the events for our teams to cover the photography at an event successfully- Ensuring maximum visibility of the images of participants following the event- Handling databases of participants which form the basis of image identification & search on our systems
