ABOUT DAVID DOUMA

David is a dynamic IT and Audit Leader with over 22 years combined experience at two of Canada\'s largest Financial Institutions and a large pension system, serving in the areas of Internal Audit, Assurance & Advisory and IT Governance Risk & Controls. These roles are further supported by his hands-on experience in application development, support and operational roles. As a result, David has a multi-perspective view of technology and has excellent knowledge of financial and operational risk, technology controls and supporting processes. David also has a proven track record in the areas of client relationship and people management. More recently, David has been engaged in successfully leading multiple, complex application and service delivery audit projects, using the power of data analytics to focus on areas of risk and drive efficiencies in overall execution. As a result of his work in these areas, he was awarded an RBC Annual Performance Leadership Award in 2020. David has enjoyed tremendous success in his roles and has received numerous awards in recognition of his achievements. David holds designations for both Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPIT) and was previously Manager IT, Assurance & Advisory at OMERS.
