About David Dore

I am driven by the importance of financial stability to mission and building financial management and operating systems focused on this connectivity. I make finance approachable, adapting financial presentations so that the desired messages are clearly conveyed, particularly to those with minimal experience managing financial matters. Prior to co-founding Structural Integrity, I held the role of Chief Financial & Operating Officer for uAspire, leading a Finance & Operations team of six, with a consistent focus on building and developing the team needed to support the priorities of an organization increasing in size and complexity. I helped steward the growth of uAspire\'s budget from less than $3 million, which largely relied on a line of credit to cover operating costs, to an annual budget of over $9 million stabilized by healthy operating reserves. Through this growth, which more than tripled the organization staff size from twenty to more than seventy, I created new systems to support strategic decision making, enhanced organizational planning practices, strengthened revenue forecasting, centered the importance of nonprofit financial management across staff and ensured ongoing operational flexibility and responsiveness.
