WORK HISTORY
Secretary & Trustee (Board Member) @Dundee Pride
Dundee City, GB
As Secretary & Board Member, I play a key role in shaping and delivering inclusive community events that celebrate diversity and connection. I offer a youth perspective to the board, helping ensure our work remains relevant, accessible, and empowering for younger members of the LGBTQ+ community. I draw on my experience in event coordination, volunteer management, and logistics to ensure our events are safe, welcoming, and engaging for everyone. I’ve led operational planning across events, supported emergency response coordination, and worked hands-on with volunteers, stakeholders, and local authorities to deliver impactful experiences that reflect the values of Pride. In my role as Secretary, I am responsible for organising both in person and online board meetings, preparing and accurately recording minutes to support transparency and effective governance. I also help maintain communication across the board, ensuring decisions are actioned and aligned with our strategic goals. I bring lived experience, resilience, and a commitment to my community. I advocate for inclusive practice, challenge barriers to participation, and contribute to longterm planning that strengthens Dundee Pride’s sustainability and reach.
