   Mr. Dixon is a Principal Geologist with Roux Associates in Oakland, California with over 30 years of experience. He has been managing and conducting complex characterization and remediation projects, industrial facility permitting and RCRA closures, NPDES permitting and evaluations, and has assisted clients with their environmental due diligence for hundreds of properties. He is very involved with Clean Water Act issues, including stormwater and NPDES permitting, and has provided litigation support and expert testimony in federal court mor many clean water act cases.He has helped clients re-use impacted soil onsite and negotiated reasonable land use controls for sites with residual soil or groundwater impacts. He has organized, moderated and been a panelist at many national conferences on topics such as characterizing agricultural land for redevelopment, community planning for brownfield redevelopment, the Clean Water Act and vapor intrusion, and has served on the educational session selection committee for the National Brownfields Conference. Mr. Dixon has also provided litigation support for cases involving property valuation related to environmental impacts, CERCLA cost recovery and the Polanco Act. Mr. Dixon has managed the environmental aspects of redevelopment projects that have won USEPA Region 9 Phoenix Awards and a USEPA Environmental Hero award.
