Diversey, Inc, was acquired by Bain Capital in September, 2017 from Sealed Air Corporation. As VP Global Accounting and Controls reporting to the CFO, my primary responsibilities are the oversight of the company’s accounting systems, policies and financial reporting to our investors and equity owner, Bain Capital. Accomplishments include: • Led the process to separate the accounting records from the predecessor company • Led team in the development of a stand-alone financial reporting system (Hyperion Financial Management) • Led the accounting for the acquisition, including liaising with the valuation firm and business leaders to support the valuation results • Led the preparation of the company’s external financial statements for its first fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2017 and first set of audited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2018 • Led the preparation of the financial statements on the sell-sides of the transaction to support the sale and financing for the new company including the 144A financials included in the offering memorandum • Led a cross-functional team to establish global reporting processes
