About David Day

David is now an Associate at The Heritage Group, which focuses on investing in companies in the sustainable energy, real estate, and industrial sectors. David was a Senior Associate in EY’s Strategy and Transactions (Private Equity) practice in New York. He worked within the S&T group focused primarily on pharmaceutical, Fintech, and M&A projects advising on acquisitions and divestitures of companies ranging from 8 -12x in EV/EBITDA. He spent a majority of his first year working in the Turnaround & Restructuring practice and focused on working capital, and consumer projects. Through a passion for learning and development, David brings an intellectual curiosity to his work. He has participated in several prestigious programs including Harvard Business Summer Venture program, EY’s Launch Internship, and Goldman Sachs’ Undergraduate Camp. David has also received a number of academic honors and awards, including the Big Ten All-Academic, Purdue Student-Athlete of the year, and a Purdue Promise / 21st Century Scholar. David was a former student-athlete and graduated from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management with Distinction, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting.
