   Responsible for the management and supervision of the Department of Land Use for New Castle County. This includes all Planning, Zoning, Historic and Transportation planning, Licensing, Building Inspections, Assessment and Code Enforcement and Customer Service. Responsible for the implementation of the New Castle County Code as it relates to the land development process and the implementation of the Comprehensive Plan goals and objectives. The general duties of this position includes the review of procedures and policies for the Department, advisor to County Executive and Council, advise various boards and committees on planning issues, the preparation of the budget, personnel supervision and assistance to the public on various regulations and policies of the Land Use Department. This position also involves interaction with elected and civic organizations to assist in the development of plans for community improvements.
