David Colman is the Founder & CEO of Acme Residential, a multifamily real estate acquisitions and property management firm that has owned and operated more than units across 110 properties in 14 states.Before establishing Acme, David was a member of BlackRock’s Product Specialist Group and previously worked within the firm’s Proprietary Alpha Strategies Group. He earned his BBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.David serves on the Board of Acme Mills Company and is a Regional Advisory Board Member for Bank of Ann Arbor. He is also a former Regional Advisory Board Member for Huntington Bank.In addition to his business leadership, David serves on the Federation Real Estate/Capital Needs Committee and has chaired fundraising efforts for organizations including the Cranbrook Art Academy and Art Museum, Detroit Institute of Arts, Horizons Upward Bound, Child Safe, and others.David lives in Birmingham, Michigan with his wife and two children.
