As CEO of Lantern LNG, David leads the development of an LNG liquefaction and export facility located offshore Texas in the Gulf of Mexico. The Lantern LNG facility is designed as a modular, fixed-platform installation with Floating Storage Units (FSUs), enabling significant cost advantages over traditional onshore projects. Lantern LNG is the continued evolution of the Grand Isle LNG project, engineered from the outset to be deployable anywhere in the Gulf with only site-specific adaptation required.Under David\'s leadership, Lantern LNG is positioned as one of the lowest-cost providers in the LNG market. By eliminating the need for major civil works, dredging, large onshore storage tanks, and long pipeline builds—and by leveraging older, repurposed vessels as FSUs—Lantern LNG created a capital-efficient project that is economically viable based solely on long-term SPAs, without reliance on commissioning cargos, spot market exposure, or speculative carbon credits.
