Serve as the primary liaison to the system informatics team representing the medication related informatics needs. Lead efforts around Revenue Cycle Management, business analytics, budget preparation, charge master and patient assistance-Coordinates and collaborates on all aspects of pharmacy purchasing and contracting between hospital and ambulatory entities across WVUHS-Leads the implementation of a system-wide electronic system for medication inventory management across the system-Responsible for on-going monitoring of system-wide contract compliance to include GPO, 340B, market share and rebate agreements-Actively participates with the medication utilization team in the development and implementation of cost containment measures regarding drug use-Primary contact for pharmaceutical representatives and vendors across WVUHS-Provides leadership in the design, implementation, adoption and optimization of the EMR in regards to revenue cycle management-Oversees revenue cycle management and patient assistance programs across the enterprise-Serves as the primary informatics liaison for enterprise pharmacy efforts to system informatics-Demonstrates strategic thinking and effectiveness by identifying future needs and problem areas, developing workable solutions, and following through to action.
