I have 21 years of medicinal chemistry experience working in a highly collaborative multi-cultural drug discovery team at Incyte. My intellectual contributions were instrumental in the successful completion of 9 distinct programs resulting in the filing of 12 investigational new drugs primarily targeting oncology, immuno-oncology, and autoimmune diseases. Highlights of my contributions and accomplishments are listed below: • Co-inventor of the FDA approved C-Met inhibitor Tabrecta (capmatinib), which is the first and only treatment for patients with mNSCLC who have METex14. • Co-inventor of 6 clinical candidates, including povorcitinib, an oral JAK1 selective inhibitor in phase 3 for vitiligo, hidradenitis suppurativa, and prurigo nodularis and INCB160058 a V617F JAK2 inhibitor for MPNs (IND filed). • Co-author of 15 peer reviewed publications, 4 of which I am first author, 7 presentations, and 20 published patents.• Initiated and currently leading a highly novel PROTAC project resulting in the first Incyte PROTAC patent.• Provided meaningful SAR and improvements in ADMET properties for a diverse array of targets including kinases, metalloproteases, corticosteroids, and GPCRs through the implementation of innovative and impactful ideas. • Served on numerous committees including Incyte Involved.• Instrumental in the recruiting and hiring of >90 chemists over the past 14 years.
