ABOUT DAVID BROWN

I am a Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI) with over 20 years post qualification experience working with a variety of clients across a wide range of sectors. With a background in the provision of strategic planning advice and policy development I have worked extensively across Wales and England, supporting National Governments, Local Authorities, and private sector developers. Most recently, I have provided advice on a range of strategic projects across Wales, managing applications for major mixed use and employment led schemes, and also providing policy advice to a number of Welsh LPAs in support of Local Plan revisions. In addition, I continue to work closely with a number of clients in the renewable energy, electricity transmission and electric vehicle sectors, supporting the development of key energy generation and infrastructure to facilitate the wider decarbonisation agenda. I also continue to focus on the assessment and consenting of major energy and infrastructure projects, supporting a number of schemes through the TCPA and DCO processes.
