About David Boyle

After leading the tax group at Cascade Asset Management from 20••••20, David now serves as the senior tax advisor to the firm\'s principals, CIO, COO and current head of tax. Previously, David led EY\'s Personal Client Services group for the Americas. He has 40+ years of experience in serving executives, entrepreneurs and their companies, and high net worth individuals with respect to income tax, and financial and estate planning matters. Prior to leading EY’s personal tax services for the Americas, David served in EY’s National Tax Office in Washington, DC in a number of roles, including as the leader of the firm\'s Individual Global Tax Planning Group, as a member of EY\'s national partnerships practice, and as leader of the firm’s tax services to S corporations and other privately owned and emerging growth companies. During his career David was also the chief tax officer of Eagle River, a private holding company focused on investments in the telecommunications industry, and the president of its affiliated family office. David has written and lectured extensively on tax and financial planning matters. His speaking engagements include presentations at the NYU Annual Institute on Federal Taxation, the AICPA Advanced Estate Planning Conference, and the CPA-Attorney Tax Clinic. He is the co-author of the treatise \"Taxation of S Corporations and Their Shareholders (a transactional analysis)\" published by Little Brown and Company, and a co-author of the S Corporations volume of the internet-based Tax Practice Series offered by BNA. David has also written articles for publications such as the Journal of S Corporation Taxation, the S Corporations Journal, the Journal of Partnership Taxation, and for The NYU Institute on Federal Taxation. David was the University of Washington\'s Masters of Accounting and Tax Program commencement speaker in 2017. David received his BS in business administration from Georgetown University and his MBA from The University of Michigan.
