Establish new Switchgear Systems Service business unit. Leverage existing qualified/near-qualified Nixon talent. Organize business unit with proper tooling, conveyances, parts inventory and systems. Develop strong relationships with Channel Partners and vendors.Help develop Nixon’s capabilities and offerings in accordance with market demand.Organize and optimize switchgear systems services offerings identified in the business plan.Lead skills inventory effort and training programs for technician workforce.Integrate business unit’s processes into Nixon’s ERP, MobileTech and CRM systems.Leverage existing Nixon services including (but not limited to) Human Resources, Finance & Accounting, purchasing (procurement), IT, and facilities As the business unit develops (steady state):Assume operations and field oversightMaintain very strong relationship with Aftermarket Service Managers and Aftermarket Operations Manager.Field project management.Identify, engage and service new customers. Sell switchgear service and retrofit commensurate with Nixon’s offerings.Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.Drive parts operations to maximize inventory turns and profitability, including supervising and maintaining inventory.Manage and maintain mobile fleet and equipment.Help recruit and train switchgear service personnel into the Nixon workforce.Schedule, conduct, supervise, document and prepare invoicing of business unit’s work.Establish and maintain high switchgear technician morale.Promote and participate in Nixon’s safety programs.
