Project: Future Growth/Wellhead Pressure Management Project (FGP/WPMP) 110 KV HV substations (GIS)(Supplier Quality Surveillance) Overseeing QA and QC coatings inspection on the carbon steel substations for the gathering and area scopes of work on behalf of the client, this scope of work is being constructed by WASCO Engineering for Siemens SAS and Schneider Electric.Witnessing inspection activities for surface preparation and coating application such as monitoring environmental conditions, surface profile readings, DFT checks, and adhesion testing.Ensuring that specified standards, test methods and product data sheets as per specification are being adhered to.Ensuring that all abrasive blasting and coating activities are carried out as per the contractual requirements and specification guidelines.Following up any observations to ensure quality of the coating project.Generating detailed Quality Inspection reports.Coordinating timely delivery of paint products required for project completion.Assisting in with solutions for customer challenges, without sacrificing the standards for quality and while maintaining the production schedule.Communicating between site and Project HQ with customers in order to address and alleviate concerns.Handling paperwork to ensure reports are accurately completed on time.

A highly motivated and genuinely flexible NACE Certified Protective Coating Specialist & Institute of Corrosion certified Offshore and Marine Coating Inspector possessing more than 30 years of experience in surface preparation, protective coating application and inspection coupled with technical management skills. Demonstrating in-depth knowledge in all aspects of surface treatment, the coating of various substrates and the application of high performance coatings and linings, I have undertaken and led on inspection projects for major clients and industries including oil and gas exploration, rail, construction, subsea, and offshore concrete structures. I’m extremely passionate regarding Quality Assurance including the \'hands-on\' elements of inspection, ensuring that the highest quality of not only inspection but also client service is delivered in a safe and environmentally sound manner always.
