I was invited onto the Landlord Advisory Panel by Liverpool City Council. The panel was set up at the consultation stage to oversee whether a licenced landlord scheme should be set up in Liverpool. After the introduction of the licensing scheme, the panel continue to liaise with the local authority on behalf of local landlords. I am also a Committee member of the local authority forum for the introduction of the CLASS registered landlord scheme.Previously committee member of the Local Authority Private Rented Sector forum, liaising forthe interest of private landlords with the Housing Benefit Department. Ensuring a smoothertransition and streamlined procedure for landlords and tenants.
