ABOUT DAVID BENTLEY
Apprenticeship trained 1997 at Pickering lifts based in various locations throughout UK had extensive experience in the manufacture and test of all lift equipment including controllers through to final installation and test on site. From then moved to London to work for small based service company in the south as service technician looking after customers from London to the south west of England role included management and providing customer care through quality control and engineering. From this experience went on to start my own lift installation and repair company working as joint owner where we worked for many major lift providers throughout the uk. Upon moving back to the north east for family reasons I started work with Otis to whom I remain with to this day. Having started as lead engineer before moving into field /technical based management roles assisting the field operations and providing support to complete safety audits and maintain customer satisfaction through quality control.
