ABOUT DAVID BEBBINGTON

Masters qualified in Leadership and Management, I served in the Royal Navy (RN) for 32 years and have an abundance of experience leading and managing high performance teams in complex operational environments. Recognized as an expert in Leadership Development, I develop team identity, creating self awareness, and a shared vision. Working with teams to enhance their world class attribute. As the head of the Royal Naval Leadership Academy Training and Development team, became the lead for Leadership and Coaching programmes for the whole of the organisation. Through strong stakeholder management skills I was instrumental in the implementation of the current leadership framework used across the whole of the Naval Service and the transformational change programme, which identified coaching as the foundation of good leadership. With a proven track record in creating sustained high performance I deliver forward looking, inspirational and motivational, Team development programmes which ensure maximum interaction and interest. Through challenge and values based workshops I stretch leaders and teams to better understand their behaviours and enable barriers to success to be identified. I thrive in a fast paced environment and gain huge satisfaction in creating a learning environment with the focus on the fulfillment of potential and realization of a successful vision. As a Performance Coach I forged a strong identity, clearly defined values, self awareness and strong characteristics in the sporting environment, developing high performance in Rugby League, Rugby Union and Football teams. All of these teams achieved their defined target of winning their respective championship after a number of years of no success. This success was achieved with minimal changes to the respective playing and coaching staff.
