With the bulk of my public policy career spent as a specialist in environmental and rural affairs, I was delighted to join one of the country\'s most professional and respected membership organisations. My role focuses on interfacing with policymakers in Westminster and around the country to raise the profile of issues of importance to rural communities. So far I\'ve led campaigns on mental health and online abuse, helped develop a Private Member\'s Bill tackling rural crime, briefed parliamentarians, organised political events in Parliament and at party conferences, produced content hosted on our website and in wider media to engage our members and the public, and represented the Alliance in press, radio and television interviews.
