As Apprentice & Graduate Programmes Manager on the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU), I’m passionate about developing early talent in the rail industry. I oversee programmes that equip apprentices and graduates with the skills and experience to launch their careers. Being part of a project transforming train travel across the North is incredibly rewarding, and I’m proud of the achievements of our talented apprentices and graduates—with many more to come as TRU progresses.Grounded in learning & skills, my career has spanned roles from Classroom Tutor and Senior Lecturer to Course Lead, Corporate L&D, and now early talent development. I’ve always focused on creating engaging learning experiences that drive growth and deliver real impact.Outside work, I love exploring the outdoors, getting stuck into home and garden projects, and presenting my own show on York Hospital Radio.
