David Barnes is a senior data consultant at Neudesic, an IBM Company, mainly working in data engineering. He graduated in 2021 from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, where he received a BS in Computer Information Systems and a BS in Business Data Analytics.Among other skills, David is well-versed in SQL (especially T-SQL and Snowflake), PySpark in Databricks, and Azure Data Factory and has had experience creating databases and writing many stored procedures, transactions, data pipelines, and overall load processes from source to target systems. Having worked on client projects in the cloud with Azure, he is certified as an Azure Data Engineer Associate, and he is also certified in Azure Fundamentals, Azure Data Fundamentals, and Azure AI Fundamentals, among others.David also has experience in programming languages and web development. He has intermediate skills in OOP in Java and Python and basic skills in C++ and C#, and he has used Python for data analytics (NumPy and Pandas) and for software development (Tkinter). He is experienced in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and, for the latter, he has basic skills in utilizing the React.js library, jQuery library, and Node.js environment.
