David is also regularly appointed by Surrogates as a Guardian ad Litem to represent individuals who cannot protect their own rights and interests, and lectures on topics related to trusts and estates litigation.Prior to joining Meltzer Lippe, David was an Associate at a New York City law firm where he counseled clients, such as the Public Administrators of the Counties of New York and Kings, in all phases of estate administration and litigation, including representing estate fiduciaries in contested and uncontested probate and administration proceedings, wrongful death compromise proceedings, contested accounting proceedings and fiduciary removal proceedings. He also conducted forensic accountings to surcharge guardians for the improper administration and conversion of guardianship assets.David received his J.D, cum laude, from Hofstra University School of Law, where he served as the Research Editor of the Hofstra Law Review and was the recipient of the Hofstra Law Review Kenneth S. Horton Award of Excellence. He received his B.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Law from Binghamton University.After law school, David served as a law fellow to the Honorable Sandra L.
