I proposed a topology intent driven capacity planning tool that created the inter-datacenter connectivity requirements for new sites in the long-term horizon (e.g: next 3 years) for all AWS commercial regions and Local Zones. I worked with multiple different teams across different organizations to coordinate and deliver the features required to implement this new planning process. As a result, fiber teams received an early signal to build the infrastructure required to support new incoming Datacenters mitigating the risk of delaying the launch of new sites. As of today, I continue working on my strategy to reduce the planning cycle time so my team can move to a bi-monthly cadence.
