Reporting directly to the CEO and COO to coordinate operations between all departments. Manages special orders, global sourcing, logistics, and large customer relationships. Oversees A/R and collections. Recognized problem solver for all operations. Managed ~75-member matrix staff, advisor to all employees. Performed inventory control, conducting needs analysis, system evaluation, and purchase negotiations, to minimize inventory costs, avoid stock outs, accelerate deliveries, and adapt to COVID supply chain delays. Co-led transition and implementation from fashion jewelry focus to new impulse/novelty product category, sold through new retail distribution partnerships. Partnered in strategic resourcing of product line to manufacturers in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea, managing contract negotiations and logistics, and ensuring compliance with international import regulations. Advised C-levels in expanding sales from US to worldwide markets, liaison with international trade show contacts to build new customer relationships with retailers in Canada, Latin America, Australia, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Negotiated hundreds of thousands in savings in disputed sales, chargebacks, and fines. Co-led company move to new sq. ft. headquarters, and helped set up complex, modern warehouse operations.
