As a practitioner and business owner interested in helping people - I believe in positive feedback, targeted interventions, and setting objectives/goals through a strengths perspective approach. I have been involved with performance and quality improvement committees, best practice trainings, leadership roundtables, and various professional focus groups to enrich communities. I have worked directly with many individuals and families for the past 20 years and have serviced variety of age groups with serious cognitive, emotional and behavioral challenges. Contemporary Health Solutions (CHS) focuses to produce positive healthy outcomes with people, local neighborhoods, and organizations by innovative outreach interventions. CHS provides direct clinical therapeutic services, onsite trainings and professional development workshops, staff supervision, and administrative/program management for state and federal contracts.I enjoy being outdoors, exercising, spending time with my family, listening to all types of music, reading books, dancing Cuban Salsa, Dominican Bachata, Argentine Tango, and West African percussion drumming.
