ABOUT DAVID ARTERBURN
Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute has benefited from two decades of David Arterburn’s expertise in health services research and real-world data science, with a focus on obesity, diabetes, and shared decision-making. As Manager of the Investigative Sciences Division, he co-leads strategic efforts and supervises a multidisciplinary team of eight physicians and psychologists. His work has contributed to securing substantial research funding including over $25 million as principal investigator, primarily from the National Institutes of Health and the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute.
