ABOUT DAVID ARSENAULT
Experienced technology executive with a strong track record in power electronics, energy storage, and data center innovation. I have been leading developments at the intersection of AI infrastructure and advanced power systems, working with engineering teams to design and commercialize supercapacitor-based power smoothing and GPU performance-enhancement modules for AI data centers running LLM training workloads. Developed in collaboration with NVIDIA, this technology is now being introduced to major hyperscalers to increase GPU utilization efficiency and improve grid stability.As an entrepreneur, I founded and led a cleantech company specializing in vehicle electrification, a spin-off of my Master’s and Ph.D. research in mechanical engineering. As CEO, I grew the company to serve customers such as New York City and Paris, secured both equity and non-dilutive funding, and successfully guided it to acquisition by Martinrea International (TSX: MRE), where I supported post-integration efforts for two years.Today, I advise companies on leveraging innovative energy-storage technologies to enhance the performance, efficiency, and sustainability of AI data centers dedicated to LLM training and inference.E
